The launch is set for this weekend.I took the poster and image from Jomkayuh.com. Hard pushing is of course Joe Adnan. Wonder if I could get our Chief Standing Bull Adnan to join.

The only problem is the ride is in the afternoon. But we'll se how it goes.

RRI ride 19th April 09

I am updating the blog due to complaints of late update amongst members. Not altogether an easy task but nevertheless have to do.

6 of us went riding into RRI on Sunday, Adnan, Hj Hassan, Hezwan, Din, Eddy and me. Fariq was to tired with KRS, K'man - kenduri, Taif untracable, Dr Khairul at PCP.

It was a fun ride, but the downhill section was a bit overgrown. We also met 3 veteran expats, who came for the change of air. I vaguely recall them overtaking us several times during our FRIM rides.

FRIM Ride 29 03 09

Dr Khairul, Taif, Fariq and me did the Dreamtrail ride at Frim. Actual route, parked at Dr Khairul's house, rode down to Lagong Trail 300m from his house, from Lagong trail into Dreamtrail, out at Rover Track, up to Blue Pipe, down to Sg Buloh, up Chinese Cemetery, down to PKKN, back the way we came from into FRIM.

Eddy and Din did the trail the day before but from Sg Buloh, lead by an aspiring Selangor MTB challange contender. They had to keep up with his pace, which I guess made them contenders as well.

This ride was memorable for two things, I was victim of 6 leech bites, and the memorable view from the Chinese Cemetery. Dr Khairul declined my offer to take his photograph there.

We also lost Taif exiting Rover track. We later found out that he went to the FRIM cafeteria from there.

It was my first time into the Dreamtrail, but it reminded me very much of the Kota Damansara Community Forest trail.

KLMBH Bandar Tasek Puteri Ride - 4th April 09

I haven't updated the club's site for a long time. Slow internet connection and the backlog of rides building up. I'll update them in time, hopefully soon.

Meanwhile, the latest ride the KL Mountain Bikers Hash at Bandar Tasek Puteri Rawang is published here, photos courtesy of KLMBH Bikers and my trusty handphone camera.

Fariq, Dr Khairul and myself took part. Eddy was in Kuantan and Din in Hong Kong. Taif and Kman declined. We ran into Rosli and Din Subang at the event.

Wonderful event, long course a hard 28km, short course a scenic 15 km. We took the long course. Fariq finished 1 hour before me, Dr Kahairul about 15 minutes earlier. I got lost for about half an hour together with riders from Bandar Tun Razak on the false trails.
